Our leadership team strives to make clinical trial participation more convenient, ultimately leading to the anticipated approval of new therapies for humankind.

Greg Austin
President
Greg Austin was named President of PCM Trials in 2008 and has since led the company to become a global leader in mobile clinical research. He also serves as the President for two other divisions under the Professional Case Management corporate umbrella – Professional Case Management In-Home Care and PCM Impairments. Prior to joining PCM, he served as a senior leader of strategy and corporate development for Dex Media, a Fortune 500 telecommunications company. He has also previously served as a senior management consultant for Computer Sciences Corporation, leading healthcare engagements to drive operational efficiencies and improve quality of care.
Mr. Austin earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Metropolitan State University of Denver and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado Denver.

Hollis Baugh
Vice President of Compliance
Hollis Baugh joined PCM Trials in 2019 as Vice President of Compliance, leading PCM’s compliance efforts on federal, state, and international levels. Prior to joining PCM Trials, he was the Compliance Office for OrthoFi. Mr. Baugh is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and spent ten years working in the anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing compliance arena, during which time he interfaced with numerous state and federal regulatory and law enforcement agencies.
Mr. Baugh earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado at Denver.

Charlie Billings
Chief Information Officer
Charlie Billings joined PCM Trials as Chief Information Officer in 2019 and has over 25 years of information technology management experience. Under his leadership, Professional Case Management’s Information Systems team has received both CIO Magazine’s CIO 100 Award and CSO Magazine’s CSO50 award, recognizing the company’s commitment to delivering value and enhancing security through its digital transformation initiative. Before joining PCM Trials, Mr. Billings was Chief Technology Officer at LT Trust Company. Mr. Billings started his IT career with Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group, implementing large information systems and subsequently held IT Director positions at Fiserv, First Data, and Qwest Communications. In those positions, he led software development, software quality, program management, security, and compliance teams.
Mr. Billings earned his bachelor’s degree from Boston University and his master’s degree in Management and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University.

Christy Crase
Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Christy Crase joined PCM Trials as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel in 2019. Ms. Crase brings over 20 years of in-house and law firm experience to the PCM Team. Previously, Ms. Crase worked in the dialysis industry as Associate General Counsel of Payor and Commercial Contracting at DaVita, Senior Counsel for the Renal Division of Baxter International, and Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for the Americas region of Gambro Renal Products, Inc. Prior to that, Ms. Crase worked as Associate General Counsel at Washington Group International, and as an Associate at the law firms of Holland & Hart and Jones Day.
Ms. Crase earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and Spanish from Regis University and her law degree from Texas Tech School of Law.

Curtis Fletcher
Chief Financial Officer
Curtis Fletcher joined PCM Trials as Chief Financial Officer in 2010. Mr. Fletcher has over 20 years of experience in the finance and accounting industry. Prior to joining PCM, he served as CFO of Local Matters, a provider of technology solutions to the Yellow Pages industry and was a practicing CPA with an international accounting and professional services firm.
Mr. Fletcher earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Wake Forest University and his master’s degree in accounting from the University of Alabama. He is a licensed certified public accountant.

Tee Lea Ong
Chief Business Development Officer and Chief Marketing Officer
Tee Lea Ong joined PCM Trials in 2013 and currently serves as Chief Business Development Officer and Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Ong has 25 years of strategic marketing and channel marketing experience. Before joining PCM Trials, he served as Vice President and Head of Marketing at WildBlue Communications, a provider of broadband communications to the rural U.S., and as Corporate Vice President and Head of Strategy at Alta Colleges. Previously, he held senior positions at communications and media companies including Verizon, Qwest, and Dex Media. Mr. Ong started his career with the Boston Consulting Group and served as a principal at Capgemini.
Mr. Ong earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from City University of New York and his master’s degree in economics from Northwestern University.

Rick Heth
Vice President, Business Operations
Rick Heth joined PCM Trials in 2010 and has been instrumental in building PCM’s mobile clinical research division. Mr. Heth has 20+ years of experience building and leading health care and technology companies. He previously served as President of NexScreen, an in vitro diagnostics company. Additionally, Mr. Heth built and led the U.S. subsidiary of Argent Networks, an Australian software company, and has held consulting positions in project management and information technology with Andersen Consulting, where he developed large-scale health care management systems.
Mr. Heth earned his bachelor’s degree in business from University of Colorado Boulder, graduating magna cum laude.

Jaçlyn Lizotte
Vice President, Business Development
Jaçlyn Lizotte joined PCM Trials in 2020 as Vice President, Business Development. Ms. Lizotte has been a sales strategist for 17 years in both contract research organizations and pharmaceutical companies, serving most recently as Director of Customer Strategy at Parexel for 10 years. In previous roles with Parexel, she supported customers across all stages of clinical development and regulatory approval. She began her career with Takeda Pharmaceuticals.
Ms. Lizotte earned her bachelor’s degree in management, with a concentration in public relations and marketing communications, from Simmons University in Boston.

Julie Church-Thomas
Director of Site Relations
Julie Church-Thomas led the start-up of PCM Trials in 2008 and currently serves as the Director of Site Relations. She supports sponsors and CROs with site outreach and education, helping ensure that the full potential of mobile research is realized. As a founder of PCM Trials, Mrs. Church-Thomas has played an integral role in the development and implementation of a wide range of corporate functions at PCM Trials, including human resources, marketing, public relations, business development and clinical operations. She has worked in various industries and has experience in publishing, community redevelopment, and hospital public relations.
Mrs. Church-Thomas earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Colorado.

Ellen Weiss
Vice President, Business Development
Ellen Weiss joined PCM Trials in April 2019 as Vice President, Business Development. Ms. Weiss has worked to deliver patient-centric services to patients since 2014, including previous roles with CMed Clinical Services and Symphony Clinical Research. Additionally, she has driven the advancement of hospice services at Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care, a non-profit hospice in Chicago, as both a board member and an on-staff patient advocate. She began her career in the financial services sector and has been an active volunteer for the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association since 2005, where she works to foster communication across the healthcare industry.
Ms. Weiss earned her bachelor’s degree in history from Iowa State University.
